Landed w/o incident. It was only a flap issue. I told you they have news crews hanging out at airports waiting for something to happen. They still had a camera on a small plane in the sky while they explained that the plane had landed safely.

ORF supposedly had a near miss with a Southwest departure and two F18s earlier this week. The local news has been going crazy over it.

Yesterday an incident at my home airport in Lantana, FL (KLNA) made CNN headline news. A solo student flipped a 152 - no injuries. But it was like 30 secs into the headlines!!

I lost the whole electrical system on my 1st solo x/c and made my first no flap ldg that day. Apparently I was lucky to walk away from that potential disaster (sarcasm).
