Got a call for interview for GE flight dept. Looking for info. Any details on schedule/lifestyle? Was told starting pay is 80K. Based out of SWF stewart-newburg. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Hey Darby,
I was wondering if John J. was the guy who called you? I have a buddy of mine that is looking at them, and I was wondering if he is still the contact guy? GE called me almost a year ago for a view, and I declined only because I had just started my new gig.

It seems like they are averaging about 1 -2 new hires a year, give or take. They have a "sweet" new Hangar in KSWF, and last count, and I'm sure I'll be corrected is that they have G-IV's, CL604's, and a couple of BBJ's. They don't hire directly in to the BBJ, and it's quite senior. I don't have any idea on the pay for you, but I've heard it is a decent place to work at.
