Major Downtime Resolved
The Zack Network today suffered a 20 hour long downtime due to a hardware failure. The cooling system in the server stopped working and the processor was in danger of overheating. I had to replace the entire cooling system in the server. The reason the downtime was long was because I needed to buy new fans and it took me a while to get to the store to get them. But everything has been replaced, the processor is luckily fine, and the cooling system is better than it was. I want to apologize to all my users for the stability issues we've had this week. Our uptime rate this week has dropped to an all-time low of 53.4%. It was just one problem after another and hopefully, everything is resolved and we can move on with no problems like we have done before with 99.6% uptime average. I hope you all will stick with us! Sorry again.

53.4% uptime this week... before the cooling died, he got dos attacked

Sounds like a single server operation. Not something I would trust with my website.

well, if you can find a better free host with unlimited space and bandwidth..

In the hosting world, unlimited is never unlimited, and you get what you pay for, and you get what you pay for in reliability and speed.

Galt Airport

Galt Airport in Wonder Lake? (10C I think)
My family used to have a 182 RG and later a 210 out of there. I remember an old beat up B-17 fuselage that used to be there...

bunnyfufu - if i'm correct that is pilotmakers' citabria in your DPA/dacy airport page. i got my private from andy surratt there. do you rent/fly with them alot?

Illini Pilot: you're right, it is their citabria.. but maybe not for long. i only flew at pilotmakers because they are the only place i could find for a tailwheel transition, and the experience has been good except for dealing with andy.. he seems nice at first but i think he's pretty mean once you deal with him a lot. one day, he forgot i was signed up for the citabria and gave it to someone else to fly. dupage is an hour away from where i live so i drove two hours for nothing.

also, my instructor there was so impressed with my flying that she gave me my endorsement after 6 hours, so i still had 4 hours pre-paid. we planned to fly the citabria to an aircraft restoration place 2 hours from dupage to finish off my hours and to see some cool airplanes being restored, plus make a new gallery for my website. i was also going to fly the airplane to the ACA factory for its annual inspection.

i was supposed to go to the restoration place thursday a couple weeks ago, then take it to the factory the next day, friday. however, at the time, andy was looking to sell the airplane, and thought he found someone who might buy it. he let that person fly the airplane to the factory on wednesday, so i didn't get to go to the factory or the restoration place, plus i might never get to fly the airplane again (and i still have 4 hours left paid for it).

anyway, i'll probably eventually make the trip to the restoration place with the instructor, but i don't think i'll ever get a tour of the american champion aircraft factory

agreed about andy, and i'm pretty sure i know what instructor you are talking about, flew with her a few times and she was great. andy seemed to forget where i was in my training every time we flew, and was pretty harsh with his criticism, their rates have gone through the roof too, i was finishing up my training as they were adding the citabria.
