But the WSofD is only $21 million, just think of all the extra fuel you could buy?!?!? Or the extra tech stops you can pay for! With the WSofD you are just 4 (or maybe 5) fuel stops from any point on earth! Why would you need anything else?!?!?! Passengers LOVE fuel stops!

In memory of the almighty LegacyDriver:

Notice that our "friend" LegacyDriver (i.e. Skull-One, a.k.a. Vraciu) has been surprisingly quiet lately???

R.I.P LegacyDriver.

He was a fine man. (Not much of an aviator)...but a fine man.

His trademark was his persistence. He will be missed.

So does this mean he was "Wrongfully Terminated" once again???

The WSCofD is a quality bird. Apparently no one has heard of the new software available. It can be found at www.download.com for free (to all WSCofD owners). It comes in a Zipped format so download winzip for free to extract the files. This new software, beta version 9.1, will allow the aircraft to cruise comfortably at FL510 and also reduces the fuel consumption to allow the aircraft to extend it's range to 8,479 NM at Long Range Cruise of Mach .70. It is also equipped for In-Flight refueling thus meaning it never needs to stop. Due to the low acquisition <sp?> costs, the AF will be getting rid of the 747 as Air Force 1 and replacing it with the low cost WSCofD. And if it's good enough for the Commander in Chief, it's good enough for your passengers.

The WSCofD is not equipped with wireless internet which means that you must land to update the aircraft software which will be updated rather often as the aircraft keeps exceeding book numbers and the only limits to it is the software that can be created for it. Included in your purchase price is a 200' ethernet cable...please park accordingly.

Enjoy WSCofD version 9.1!

hmm?

Im sorry. I followed all of the WSofD and laughed many times at the virtual a$$ kicking....but who is "Skull-one" ?? i guess i never followed that much

Soooooo.... As we're sitting there at Jet Aviation in PBI yesterday with our G550 all hooked up to life support in lieu of a functioning APU, a WSCoD taxis past. And I thought to myself, "I'd still rather be here than there." :D

As a sidebar, one of the low time (1500 hours) GV's that my company traded in for the 550's was at PBI yesterday too. It started its APU, subsequently started its engines and left.

We remained tied to life support (huffers courtesy of Delta--btw, the first cart didn't work as we found out as our people drove through the gate! ).TC

Don't they have any loaner APUs in the pool?

But you're leaving out that the WSofD can fly between those 4 (or 5) tech stops so slowly it'll stay aloft something like 9+ hours...with plenty of fuel left over!

But the Yak can do all that for a lot less money, and when IT makes a tech stop it's not one of these sissy-bourgois "get fuel, dump the lav" affairs....no, we're talking REAL proletariat-man stuff like having to re-tighten bolts, pop the cowls, and fill 'er up with good Siberian crude. When a Legacyski hits the ground, the collectivized effort required to get it aloft again is met only if the Workers unite for the Common Good and that warms the heart like a Vodka Breakfast in a Gulag which of course you capitalist dogs could never understand and why you're destined for the ashbin of history or we bury you wichever comes first as soon as we can get our navy to float again and sail onto a glorious victory once this ice clears up speaking of which we MEANT to lose that stupid hockey game back in 1980.

Yeah, we got one put in yesterday. And the original is on its way to PHX. If we were smart and REALLY motivated, we would have dropped our pax in PBI and scooted up to SAV, had the loaner put in and gone back Monday to PBI with the owner none the wiser. But all that happens way above my pay grade. :D TC

You have a pay grade?? I'm jelous. I need to get on of those.

I hear ya though, TC. I sometimes wonder why we do some of the stuff we do. Glad ya got an APU. It sucks when she don't blow.
