Hello, I have posted and I know a few others are interested in the TELEX 850's as seen on marvgoldens.
I called Telex and spoke to a tech rep.
If you fly an airplane that does not have a voice activated intercom or if the intercom does not have a squelch control..this headset may annoy you. I fly the CRJ and for the ANR to be powered you need to leave the intercom switch ON. This will cause you frustration or rather a beating from the pilot next to you b/c you will hear the mic hiss.
The rep said.they are thinking about putting a lithium battery in the earcup to solve this problem. No mention on a time frame.
