FWS and TPS?

In his/her career, can a pilot attend both Fighter Weapons School and Test Pilot School, or does attending each school send the pilot permanently down a different career path? Are there any patch wearing test pilots?

I met a Test Pilot once who also was a USAF FWIC graduate.

He said TPS had less mind games, but overall was much harder than FWIC. I was really surprised to hear that.
