Just got this email from NASA Ames Reasearch in Mountain View, CA. Might be a decent gig if you have the time.

Hello,

I am writing to determine your interest in becoming one of our Future Flight Central Pseudo Pilots at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA. To be considered for a Pseudo Pilot position, you must be an IFR rated general aviation or air carrier pilot. Pseudo Pilots utilize a computer and keyboard to generate aircraft movement in a simulated air/ground environment.

Currently, we are recruiting for a project requiring 23 Pseudo Pilots that will be working with air traffic controllers to test advanced simulation target generator software at different levels of automation. Training on the software will be provided.

Each selected Pseudo Pilot will be asked to work during the following schedule from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.

May 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th , 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st.
June 1st, 6th, 7th, 8th 13th, 14th, 15th.
Note: At this time, these dates are preliminary and subject to change.

All pilots will be hired as Independent Contractors and paid every two weeks. The compensation for general aviation pilots will be approximately $3,600.00 ($25.00 per hr) and for air carrier pilots $4,320.00 ($30.00 per hr). Due to funding restraints, rental car, lodging, and per diem will not be provided for this project. Compensation will only be paid for hours worked.

If you are interested, please call 650-604-5661 to schedule a brief in person interview and discussion of details concerning the project. Please be prepared to bring your resume indicating your aviation experience with you. We will notify the selected pilots no later than April 17th.

Please pass this information along to anyone you think this would be of interest to as we are always looking for new people.

Thank you for your support and I hope to hear from you soon.

Wendy
