Hey, if you are furloughed from a major (say UAL) do you still get to keep your flight benefits? Obviously not jumpseating because your ID would be gone but can you still non-rev?
 
United allowed furloughees to nonrev for a while. I think it was a year or so. They allowed jumseating to and from home to your mil job. Mainline or express; no restrictions.

Delta gave full flight benefits to their furloughees for the duration of the furlough including jumpseat (in back) on Delta flights. During furlough, family had to pay small per mileage charge, but you even had buddy passes for furloughees. Very generous, but I never understood why a company who intends to rehire someone in the future wouldn't do this, especially when it just standby, I mean it literally costs the company squat to include furloughees unless they never intend on bringing them back.
