I need a good costume to wear on halloween and I want to keep it funny along the Pilot/ATC world. Any ideas?

Lrjtcaptain,

I thought your blue man group idea was good a couple of years ago. I think you should go as a flight attendant!! Hahahaha JK!

well.....we are wearing these to class down here in OKC at the academy. Ive got two good ideas but i need one more. The blueman group one was awsome. That was a good party. You and dans little rockstar bit was good too........hows the jungle jet treating you? Youll have to send me your flight schedule so i can bust out the FIDO and re route you every time. Remarks section. "Give him the thumb of disrespect. He likes to hold"

still at the academy but ill be in Northern cali....KSTS

The cheapest way to go would be to put on your pilot uniform, then a set of really dark sunglasses.

Get one of those poles (I'm sorry to be politically incorrect, but I don't know what it is called) that blind people use to walk and not hit things.

Being a blind pilot is always good for a few laughs with the non-flying croud, but it'll cause you to be listed under the "Dorky Pilot" thread with other pilots.

Pilot Uniform + Mug of Beer in hand = Funny X being completely sh!t-faced = really funny....

My .02,
SK:cool:

You could go as a TSA screener!

Wear a white shirt with Post Office- derived logo on the sleeve, "TSA" in black marker on the back, dark pants, and prison jumpsuit worn underneath.

Put on blind man sunglasses.

Fill one front pocket with nail clippers, pen knives, scissors, and nail files.

Put a tube of KY Jelly in the other pocket.

Practice saying "bag check" with a foreign accent.

If anyone asks you who you are supposed to be, rudely ask them if they are trying to cause a problem. Then threaten to have them arrested.

Should be fun!

well, i have my old uniform still even though im not currently employeed as a pilot. Im a controller now but im in OKC at the MMAC for ATC tower training and my class is dressing up that day. Two of my friends arent all that creative so they asked me to assign them costumes.

Im thinking about doing my pilot uniform with a big sign on my back that says, "Im the captain, and I'm in charge" cause all of our ATC instructors like to assume that we are all in charge and that pilots are puppets....
the other costume i thought up this morning was to be Ronald Reagan. Some of the instructors and some of the students in my class are X PATCO from the 1981 fire. So that is a good one too!

Isn't the way that it is ??? ... :D

I'm kidding... kidding ... ;)

Oh that's classic... though I wouldn't wear that one myself (have one of the OTHER guys wear that one). Just in case someone is touchy about it... (you never know) LOL.

Last year my 12 yr old son came up with good one. He wore a white shirt, one of my ties, his grandfather's hat and glasses, and took along my briefcase.

Asked what he was he said he was from the IRS.

Everyone agreed that was scary. :p

FAA not being creative..................unbelievable!

How about going as usama bin laden? That would be good.

You could dress up as airline management. That way you could lie to everyone about everything and feel good about it.
