Personally, I give FO Captain about 12 months before he's really kicking himself for leaving the Navy. Or at least his wife.

Good article, but the flying public simply does not care. They care if they saved 5 bucks on a ticket.

How true...flying for the airlines was the most fun job I ever couldn't afford to keep. 5 bucks more per ticket shared between the two of us up from would have almost doubled our salaries. Sad really.
