Anyone know the fuel burn for a Baron B55? I have the opportunity to fly one of these for the cost of fuel only to build time and am curious what the fuel burn is?

It has IO-470 Cont. engines on each side.

Thanks in advance.

This is from an A55 POH, same motors.

Normal cruise, 24" & 2300 rpm - 12.6 @ 4,000 ISA
" " 22" & 2200 - 10.6 " " "
Economy cruise, 20" & 2100 - 8.9 " " "

Gas only is a pretty good deal for a twin today.

i agree with brotha francis.
very rarely does an airplane conform to the POH especially if its an older model. budget for 15g/hr/side (30/hr) and you cant go wrong. if you plan for high altitude ops then 25 or something like that. if you come out with less burn than that then you can afford a pizza at your destination :)
