If you weren't such an old man, I'd come down there and kick your a@@!!! :-)

This is the only time a year I miss Florida.

I am not that old, 47, but I do have a blond 23 year old daughter, a 21 year old blond daughter, a 20 year old baseball player with a 90 mile and hour fastball, a 16 year old blond daughter, a 13 year old blond daughter, a 10 year old boy future astronaut, and another blond daughter 4. I forgot a beautiful Scandanvian wife what would give anything to be in Maine with the freezing rain, and snow. Oh well............

Seven children and nearly 17,000 flight hours, what a blessed man you are. Live Long And Prosper!

And another thing...All that takes one more stronge Man to build and hold togeather. I don't think that other guy need to talking bout kickin nutin! His mouth might be writing checks his body can't cash!

You've got to be kidding me, is this your first winter up here or something?

Turbo, BTW are any of your older daugthers single? :D

The oldest is single and is leaving for Africa, Cameroon to be exact, in January as a missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators. The next is getting married on December 28th. Oh well........

In LEB they have the plane in the hanger every morning. I like that a lot....

We got 5" of it this A.M., I woke up and looked outside and couldn't believe it. It's all lake effect stuff and should be gone by tomorrow.

Snow?

Is that the white flaky stuff on the ground in all the Christmas movies? :)

72 for the high today in Dallas. I had to wear a coat to work this morning.

You know I use to like skiing, then I moved to Florida, just too cold to endure even for a vacation, anyone want to take up water skiing?

Don't you warm weather guys and gals missing the frigid temperatures to break out the leather jackets and white scarf though? :D

Well the scarf is silk so we can wear it whenever we want, but what do you think we are doing in this weather, first time that I have worn a jacket in almost a year.

I need hat that looks like the old leather flying helmets.

I love snow and crud in NY, MI, and IL. If it didn't s*ck so bad up there in the winter, I wouldn't have a job flying the snowbirds south.

first winter

I just moved to FLL in August(bad timing) and this is my first winter here. It is very strange to still be wearing shorts and talking to freinds back in NY and they say it is snowing. It just doesn't feel like the holiday season. The wife and I are going to go to NC for Turkey day to try to cool down a little. Maybe that will help get us in the spirit. We have discovered that we miss the chill but not the snow. I guess we will get over it in time.

I couldn't agree with y'all more.

We had to leave the steaming cesspool of unbridled humidity that is Corpus Christi to escape to the cool, dry, wintry northland - D/FW!!!

My 3.5 hour flight in the ol' SloHawk was a visual delight of changing leaves, sun-drenched plains, and a flawless blue sky.

In all fairness, Corpuscle Christi has been unusually cool and dry lately, but that hardly makes up for the weeks of flooding, bird sized skeeters, and a local population that enjoys 20% below average IQs and incomes!!!

It sure is great to be up north again!

Florida.

I live near FLL for the last 6years, after been here for this long you get to used to and warm and very mild winters down here.

Forcast for sunday

sunshine. Highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s (night)

You just can't beat it this time of year down here, and even the snowbirds are few and far between, due to S FL hospitals not willing to accept the Canadain Med insurance, and now they have to pay somewhere between 5-7K if they want to use it from what I understand.

So to sum it up... Warm Sunshine, Few snowbirds and plenty of hot woman walking around the beach showing what they have to offer, like they have nothing else better to be doing. I knew that Telescope would come in handy, and it was not the sun that blinded me lol
