Here's how pretty much every conversation anyone has ever had with Fubi went:

Bubba: "Hey Fubi, I heard what you think about this whole SLI thing; I think something different."

Fubi: "Well, you're just stealing their seniority!"

Bubba: "Why do you think so? What's your justification?"

Fubi: "Because SWA guys are all arrogant @sswipes, that's why!"

Bubba: "Um.. I'm not sure I understand your point. WHY do you think what I believe is unfair?"

Fubi: "Because you're all buttf#ckers, that's why!!"

Bubba: "Oh, I see. You're making MUCH more sense now."

But almost everyone else sees the same thing. When your offer is offensive to not only the other party, but to almost everyone else, you know you've got a problem. Would arbitrators agree with your methods? I doubt it, but you never know. We'll see if the Airtran guys vote for it or not, but the second offer, to me, doesn't seem any better, and maybe someone else should decide the SLI in a more fair manner?

Bye Bye---General Lee

Genital,

I hate to break it to you, but you are along way from reality...as usual. Almost everyone in this industry thinks that first AIP was a pretty big windfall for the Airtran pilots. And as a matter of fact, most of them are kicking themselves now for having the MEC turn it down.

So it appears that again, you really don't know what you are talking about.

You, Fubi, and OYS just walk in lock step with actually debating in merits in any of these deals. Completely non-relevant anymore. What happened to you?

Fubijaakr - an expert on everything he knows nothing about.

True. The arbitrator disregarded DoH in the US/AW debacle.

We'll see if the Airtran guys vote for it or not, but the second offer, to me, doesn't seem any better, and maybe someone else should decide the SLI in a more fair manner?

Looks just as bad to me, too. But, if they vote for it, they deserve what they get.

They'll vote it in, and unless there's more on the table than what we are seeing, the SW guys will most likely vote it down. Could be interesting.

In that case, the arbitrator is the best option. Just remember, you're agreeing to BINDING arbitration. If it doesn't go your way, don't be Pickleballers.

Just suck it up and move on.

I have great faith that the average SWA pilot will accept the results and do his/her best to put this bump in the road behind them and work hard to make the merger as seamless as possible.

Of course, there will always be the 5%ers.

Here's some more Fubijaakr logic (from the JS thread):

Fubi: "SWA Bubba, I bet you $100 you're a junior SWA F/O"

Bubba: "Nope, I'm a junior Captain. Pay up."

Fubi: "Sorry, you never accepted the bet. Nice try though."

Obviously, this is what I should have expected from King Fubi the Fair. Not only refuses to explain or justify any friggin' claim he makes, but won't even acknowledge his own stupidity. It's like arguing with a monkey.

Hey, all you Airtran guys: Do you REALLY want this yahoo to be the voice of your opinions? Isn't he embarassing you as much as he is himself? I actually kinda' feel bad for him...

Bubba

don't argue with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

guys/gals,why do you even engage with fuji, oys, general, etc. you know the players. they are experts, at their level. we will never beat them.

Fubijaakr,

You keep emphasizing 'BINDING".

You do understand that does not mean that SWA MUST integrate the two lists, don't you?

So there is nothing in the Process Agreement that states negotiation, mediation, and then arbitration for an ISL? Why would anyone sign that agreement without having the INTENT of integrating the lists? That would be a good question for an arbitrator. What was the intent of that Process Agreement?

Godspeed!

OYS

That would be a good question for an arbitrator.

Godspeed!

OYS

What? Do you actually even read what you type?

Good question for the arbitrator? HAHA. Go ahead ask him. He creates a list, he doesn't really answer your questions about the Process Agreement tool.

RF

PS, the list really never has to be combined if GK elects to play it that way. But you knew that already, right?

That's true, but do you really think the God King will take the financial hit of separate ops just to mollify a bunch of greedy F/Os and Jr. Captains?

Not bloody likely.

"but do you really think the God King will take the financial hit of separate ops just to mollify a bunch of greedy F/Os and Jr. Captains?"

What about the AAI pilots that want our seniority and CBA...? They are not greedy?

Seriously? They don't want YOUR seniority. They just want THEIR seniority. You always seem to conveniently forget that when your fabled "10 year" f/os upgrade they'll jump over ALL the "6 year" AAI CAs.

You have your seniority. You will always have it. What you are trying to do is staple the AAI F/Os and that is disgusting.

If he thinks the integration will cause an incurable cancer to spread in the rank and file he will not implement. He will deduce that whatever the cost, the price of integration is too high.

He's already thought this through.

PS
Why do you think the AAI guys got $20/hour +++ since last fall?
Southwest.

But then again it's not about the money.

.

You mean the $20. we settled for after the merger was announced, instead of the $30. we were holding out for?

It's truly bizarre that you feel entitled to make speculations about AAI matters that you obviously have no clue about, but, hey, knock yourself out.

I'm sure it sounds impressive to those who don't know better.
