Run along to your Amway meeting.

Hahaha. No, no Amway here, not that there is anything wrong with that. Unfortunately my businesses are brick and mortar.

Now, since you won't go away lets find out why you are so jaded and anti-Frontier. You are obviously embarrassed that you are flying a Q-400 at this point in your career, again nothing wrong with that. If you are at Horizon, you are probably smarting from being displaced off the CRJ-700 back to the Q-400 when Horizon lost the Jet Express flying in Denver. Right? Ouch.

Or maybe you couldn't get on Frontier mainline and slipped through the cracks at Lynx hoping that there would be a flow-through. Now you are fuming when you have to ride the bus to the terminal with some young whipper-snapper heading to his Airbus going to Costa Rica while you get to go to Billings in your Q-400. I understand.

Don't associate your personal worth with the airplane you fly. You will be ok. In any case, your ill will toward F9 is sickening and shows poorly on you. Take it for what its worth.

As usual, you are wrong on all counts--the product of a simple third-rate mind drawing conclusions for which there is no basis. I do not currently fly a "Q-400" but that is entirely beside the point.

I have no "ill will" toward Frontier and have expressed none.

What I have stated are facts pertaining to the economics and business climate of the airline industry. If you don't like or can't understand it then that hardly my problem.

If you want to be a cheerleader for Frontier, go ahead. It's a semi-free country.

CitationUltra,

Man, why do you even care what happens at F9? Why don't you worry about your own problems. People losing there jobs is nothing to laugh at. I hope you and whatever company you fly for is never in financial trouble. Karma is a bitc_ and we all have to pay the piper at some point.

This week on flightinfo has been one for the books. I keep feeling like that plague victim in Monthy Python and the Holy Grail:

"I'm not dead!"
I'm getting better"
"I don't want to go on the cart"
"I feel fine"
"I think I'll go for a walk"
"I feel happy, I feel happy!"
[Dead Collector glances up and down the street furtively, then silences the Body with his a whack of his club]

CitationUltra,

As much fun as its been traveling the "low road" with you, it and you have become tiresome. Maybe if your wet-dream of Frontier going away comes true, I can come over to the Q-400 and snatch gear for you. I will even act interested when you wax about the good old days "flying the whale" on every leg.

Good day.

I doubt Frontier will follow the path of Skybus, ATA, Aloha. They are a great company, that has new and better leadership with motivated employees and I personally think they'll find a way to pull through.

Jet Blue has capital BUT also getting hit with high fuel.

Wow. Had to reread that to see if I was missing something. So, jetBlue has capital but because they are paying high fuel prices they will be in line for "the next bankruptcy and liquidation"? BTW, in relative comparison, F9 is on par with most other airlines in terms of cash and ratios, and jetBlue is even better on that basis.

I'm sorry, you were saying what about F9 and cash. I think WS called it correctly.

Texx, you appear to be reveling in the fact F9 filed just so you can rub someone's nose in a pile of sh1t. Do you feel better? Do you get off on other people's misfortune?

No, not at all. If you read the prior posts the talks began with a prediction of WS. The person created the "pile of sht" with his comments, I just followed with an update. You can read into it what you like.
