Heard Frontier now has a pool of 30-40 pilots. Anyone know the plans for draining the pool? Are they still hiring into the 737 or is everyone going to the A-319?

Thanks

F9 pool

Will let you know when they call. Expecting a Jan. class and will ask some pertinent questions when they call to firm it up.

Yaks,

I heard in class yesterday that hiring will continue through out the year. The pool is getting drained little by little every month or so. They have a class of Up-grade, transition, or new hire about every two weeks until fall. The biggest thing holding calls for new hires is sim time. The sims are almost maxed out, working about 20 hrs a day.

I was told maybe one or two more 73 classes then no more will be going to the 73. In class with 5 new hires and the next class starts monday with 5 more.

up frnt

Thanks for the info. Any idea how long the sim phase is taking from first through LOFT? Also wondering what the training schedule is like. Do you usually do 5 on 2 off?

I just got done with 737 sim training in SEA. I was up there for 12 days total. 1 day of FMS training, 3 days of fixed based training, 6 sims and 2 days off.

Oh, You want the 737, you need the 737, please get me off reserve.:D

Seniority resignation?

I think this has been asked before, but a friend of mine wants to know if you have to resign your seniority # when you get hired...No, I'm not asking for myself.

Thanks
