Yes and yes. Go get it. It's the first big DVD set I bought, it's that good. You won't see the Apollo program the same way again. Ditto the spouse comment. My wife was glued watching it, and this is really not her thing. She went back and watched it again a year later - all 12 hours.
Im only thinking about buying it because I have like $150 in those Best Buy reward certificates. Thanks for comments on it, Ill probably get it.
"From the Earth to the Moon" is by far the greatest and most accurate documentary that will ever be made concerning the Apollo landings and program. The way they captured not only the space side, but also the personal side is incredible!

Tom Hanks is an incredible director, and if you've seen Apollo 13, this is even more leaps and bounds over it in this historical and techincal accuracy of it.

My wife bought me the box set for Christmas last year, and it's by far one of my favorite DVD's in our collection.

I highly recommend it!
