I wonder what would happen to an instructor if he or she was caught stealing money that was not theirs from Mesaba?

That's easy...They fire(d) him. Didnt even bat an eye from my understanding, nor punished internally just to keep him with our ranks as a line pilot. Not that I condone stealing, he was a good guy and good APD for the saab program. Glad to see he's back doing sim stuff at MSP (around the same people who fired him!)

Whether its 1 dollar or thousands, stealing is stealing. But whats punishable for one, should be for everyone. My 401K is 200 dollars short. Seems the company took it from my paycheck, has not deposited it to my plan, is keeping it and not willing to give it up, and is making interest on it. Hmmmmm, that sounds pretty darn close to thievery.

somebody pm me - i'm curious who got fired since i left xj - i just spent alot of time at the training center as a newhire
