Actually ....it does in that the markets that will now be served with thru ticketing out of DAL will have those prices met by the flights to the same cities served out of DFW airport.

Even those who were doing the "two-step" thing because of the Wright (Wrong) restrictions still found cheaper tickets. Now those folks and more will find more price competition on those routes...no matter which airport they elect to fly out of....isn't this a great victory for the Customer?

All the media articles written about this in the past few days see this as a opportunity for lower prices. I guess for now, we'll have to agree to disagree and see how it really plays out.
