No luck on the corporate board, so thought I'd throw one here. Anybody ever been? Heading down there on a flight in a few weeks. Will be there about 4 days. Any info appreciated! Thanks!

don't drink from the "Vat of purple juice"
 
I've been to Georgetown, Guyana and Paramaribo, Suriname but not French Guiana. What's down there? Paramaribo was somewhat primitive and Georgetown was less so. ATC and airport services were okay. If you go sightseeing, hang on tight.
