Hello gentleman,
Do any of you know which outfits out there are hiring right now for freight whores/dogs? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

cargo

Is this because of the new law that is going to pass this year and everyone is running towards the regionals??

I don't think so,... It will be some time before most banks can actually afford the electronic route. I think transfering the check itself is a greater cost than having the real "McCoy" sent. It will come at some point, I am not naive, but I also think that there other areas of cargo that are still available after electronic transfer is in widespread use. Good luck!

USA Jet has been running some classes, I believe another class is in the works.

Aberdeen Flying Service, Business Aviation, Capital City Air, Priority Air, all in SD. Great places to start!

several people are hiring, if you are really in hard place. look up Air Tahoma in Columbus oh. they fly the Convair 240,580. But don't say I didn't warn you when you get there and they give you weeks on end with time off no pay and flying crappy aircraft. fly at your own risk.. I worked there almost a year and made only 5500.00 dollars. good job hunting

Air Tahoma is really needing pilots now. In the last couple months they have had at least 11 pilots move on. Some left without having a job so they could spend their time looking for another job. Most left for better jobs. All now have better jobs.If you are looking to get some 121 time and move on look there. If you go in thinking the worse then you wont be let down. There is still some great people in the pilot group there but they are getting out quickly. Pay is bad I mean BAD, the schedule is BAD and the management hates the pilots openly. They do not hide it so it will not be a surprise. You can learn a lot from the capts. that are still there, but none of them are very happy.< But they are good guys.and will help you. Good luck if you go there. Be as thick skinned as you can. and remember as a pilot there is NO ONE in management on your side, and I know this sounds odd, but those that have been there can confirm this, the management is always plotting against the pilots. and in the D.O.`s words you only deserve what he gives you. Watch you back, it will be used as a dart board.
PAY for F/O starts at 63.00$ a day.after 6mo. 77.00
no paid time off , no holiday pay , no paid sick or vacation. no 401k
But there is a mileage bonus 3/4 of a cents a mile.
plenty of time off.[without pay].

Sounds like you'd be better off flight instructing!

WHY DID YOU TAKE A JOB THERE? HOW PATHETIC!
