Does anyone have a flyer that they have used as a freelance instructor that they would mind sharing? The one I came up with dosen't seem to be getting the job done. Also, I searched the board and a lot of the freelance guys have mentioned that they offered to teach a non credit class at local college's. Who did you speak with to allow you to do this? President of the college? Any advice anyone has to share is greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

I have advertised in the local paper and made flyers from the ad. I also have a sticker on the back window of my truck which reads Learn to Fly. I will see if I can attach the paper ad in another post. These forms of advertising has worked well for me. I just got my CFI in March 04, and I have four students.

FYI you may want to check into the new TSA rules that are supposed to take affect this week. The AOPA web site has some info in it and you can look it up on the Federal Register for the Dept. of Homeland Security's 49 CFR Part 1552. It applies to flight schools and freelance instructors alike and it looks like it will be a nightmare
