Alright everyone, my whopping second post to flightinfo
is about as acidic as my first one, but I have to ask...

We had a jumpseater today who, in hindsight, probably flew/worked for Freedom. He had a MESA ID and told the capt. that he flew the Beech 1900 out of PHX...

Unfortunately, I happened to overhear him speaking with an F/A who was also jumpseating on our flight, and he said he flew the CRJ700/900...could be machismo, but inquiring minds need to know. Especially because I've already read stuff on here about jumpseat collusion with Freedom folk...

Would anyone be kind enough to PM me a current Freedom pilot list? I have to confirm my suspicions...ugh...

The 1900's in PHX are flown by Air Midwest. there are only 3 left and next month there will be one. AMW has a different ID than Mesa, so ask for his certificate (if a capt.) and see what type he has. There is LOTS of subterfuge on the jumpseat concerning Freedumb. BE CAREFUL! I can get you a list when I get off the road.....which thanks too the dufus YES voters, is A LONG TIME on the road....

As has been reported on this board numerous times, ad nauseum; with the ratification of the TA, Freedom pilots were integrated back into Mesa. So, no "Jumpseat Fraud".

Our jumpseat commitee came out with a statement telling us to welcome Freedom pilots as Mesa pilots. Ya fat chance. While I will take Mesa I will not take Freedom EVER. The Mesa pilots are weak but Freedom did not help their cause.

When the TA is in effect, isn't Freedom a thing of the past. Wont all of the Freedom pilots have regular Mesa ID's?. Other than a published list, how will you even know that they were from Freedom?
Personaly, since the Mesa guys voted them back, then I would accept their decision and will not kick off any Mesa pilot. The jumpseat is not a place to wage war. Thanks.

I'm with Mcpickle on this one. I will never forget what Freedom did, and I will always carry my Freedom list.

The jumpseat is the perfect way to show displeasure for those scumbags. There will never be a ride on my airplane for those ba$tards! Those guys can go straight to he!!!

Better check out the Continental guys you carry then..senior ones especially...also United, A.A, ex Eastern replacements there too...better have a big list with you....where does it all end? You reap what you sow fellows, so the pilot you crap on today, might be your employer in the future...is it worth the chance? Don't think so.

I love listening to you people talk about jumpseat authority. Do you really think those Freedom guys give a crap? Most of them aren't commuters and the ones who are can non-rev on AWA to just about anywhere they need to go. I guess it makes you feel important to dangle the jumpseat in front of them.
