Here's the Freedom toolbox walking around the ATL ramp chatting it up with his pals (other crew coming off other flight) and doing his walk around in a f'ing baseball hat. I'm not getting into the hat argument here, this is the backpack wearing iPod argument. You are the poster child for twenty something idiot that will climb over the backs of anyone to fly a jet. Hope that loan payment is kicking you in the balls each month. Yes, we were laughing AT you, not with you when you looked over at us.

Hey, I kina like my baseball hat......

WTF, I was wearing a back pack today full of all my study stuff for recurrent!!!

I also had my, crew kit and overnight bag. So what's the deal with the Back pack anyway? I only carry it when I need to study, or when I can't fit all the porn in one bag.

Maybe you need to check out the more entertaining PSA CRJ900 threads and review the whole AWAC US play to pay arrangement (among other soap operas) before you start to bash our pilots again. Or is just bashing our pilots the point? Like the other guys said, feel better?

Silver and sore....If you are over at ASA then you have those same folks you talk bad of. It's called the acclerated if I have a extra 30-40 thousand dollars I can get the training in the saab 2000 sim in vero beach at Flight safety international. With the 250 hours you have in VERO you are off to a quick job at ASA sittin in the right seat. Now what is the difference? Just curious and observing. Have a great day!

Now thats a hole in the dike that needs plugging really bad. I'd love to see Congress step in and make the mins to fly 121, ATP. I'm betting we could drive up salaries quickly. Without these programs, there are some that would never stick it out to teach in a 172 that long.

But you are right, the most militant and angry of the bunch across the business are GENERALLY the guys that have never done anything else but graduate high school, go to college, gone through an accelerated program and landed a regional job.

Mug a spikey-haired 20 something.

He won't see you coming because the bluetooth Oakleys he is wearing in the terminal restricts his vision.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

I think I saw the same tool walking into the terminal at MCO on friday afternoon with his BASEBALL cap on!!!!!! I quickly grabbed the the mike and announced on the ops frequency that here is the future of our flying jobs walking down the hall with a baseball cap on. I guess the other freedumb crews were either to scared or embarrased to reply. And lets not forget about the freedumb f/o I saw wearing one of those black leather belts that has the holes all the way around the belt. Kind of like what you would see a punk rocker wearing or a harley rider. He also had the black boots with the yellow stiching as well.

Can you freedumb guys and gals at least take SOME pride in how you look while performing your job as a Professional Airline Pilot? Does your Chief pilot even care how you look? Well, I guess if you look like a college bum than you are paid based on your appearance. HS

I have seen US Air mainline guys dressed like you describe. And no, the Chief Pilot probably doesn't know. Are you going to give him a call?

Yall crack me up...you know these pilots that you talk about, this issue is for them and them alone to take up with their cheif pilot...why do you need to "waste" your time talking about it...do you have that little productive to do?
