Is this the "Mesa" Freedom Airlines or someone else? Heard them overflying ATL the other day. "Freedom Air 6109" or something like that.

Freedom = ALPA carrier, DW signed/approved contract

GJ = Non-union carrier, no contract

Yeah, but it's still mesa, just wearing another dress. So one step above GJ.

Yeah, but Freedom started this non-union crap and since Woerth signed off on it, then it must be ok.

Ya, oh hey by the way how many Freedom A-List guys are even still at Freedom? (In a completely different airframe now too) (oh ya with a completely different codeshare) (with an ALPA contract) (on the MESA seniority list)

PS THIS HAS BEEN BEATEN TO DEATH WITH A STICK!

You must be one of the original Freedomers!!

NOW THAT'S A LINE!

I don't defend the original freedom or Blow jets etc.

Just saying that anyone giving the guys there now a hard time is simply insulting someone who absolutely had nothing to do with the situation. ANY current Mesa pilot could find himself flying for Freedom if he's JA'd or transferred.

PS I was in High School when the whole A list thing went down...

So, what youre saying is you knew you would have to take crap sandwiches and suck c...ck for working at mesa and you still did it, knowing it had everthing to do with the current situation in the airlines and the race to the bottom that you all started and are only losing because of gj

sound like a brokeback riddleMAPD biatch to me

First off, you're a total idiot.

Second, I knew I WOULDN'T have to suck c**k to get my job. I went to school, I got my job. As a matter of fact it was pretty easy.

Third, Stop using me in your homo-erotic socialist love fantasies, everyone is getting a little creeped out by your phalic references. (we're not a bunch of old greek guys here)

Fourth, I work for mesa. Don't like it, great. Then I won't have to share a cockpit with an ignorant Azz who most likely makes/ made nearly the same ammount as I do right now.

The original purpose of my post was to let someone know about a callsign, and that Freedom was/is a 100% different operation than it used to be. So that my friends, whom I could join at the whim of my company, don't get denied their jumpseat home to see their wife and kids. Someone as highly educated and almighty as your should know how FAA 121 Certs are used these days. But I guess you're too busy fantasizing about college dudes wearing their aviators to bed with you to give a SH*T about the truth. Don't be pissed off at some regional guy because he makes 4 bucks an hour less than you over at your highly superior 99% similiar operation, especially when they weren't even with the airline when it was negotiated.

FINALLY DON'T EVER CALL ME A RIDDLE GRAD:puke:

I have a humble suggestion . . .

IFLYFL410 . . . first off . . . your choice of screen handle gives us a pretty good idea of what a TOOL you are . . . You've flown at FL410?!? WOW! You're so cool! You MUST BE A REAL PILOT!!! I BET YOU HAVE THE RAY-BANS,THE E6-B PILOT WATCH, and the exceptionally small penis TO PROVE IT!!!

Q: Do you wear your pilot uniform to the grocery store?

Since you're undoubtably too stupid to tie your own shoe laces, I have a helpful suggestion for you:

slap in the face!!!

More like a badge of honor. This sucker was non-union work recaptured by ALPA. While it wasn't free, Mesa's got it now, and it's going to be a hell of alot easier negotiating a new contract in 2007 w/o a whipsaw than with one.

Not to mention the fact that the utility of having that certificate provided jobs for about 400 due-paying card carrying ALPA pilots (via the Delta connection)

TSA dosen't have that option . . . and they're going to get HAMMERED.

Yeah, very cute. The screenname, I mean "Handle," has nothing to do with being a tool. If I were a tool, I would have named myself "IFLYFL450" since I have been there quite a number of times as well. The real Tool here is you. That was probably one of the most waste of a time posts I've ever read. You accomplished nothing but a little mudslinging, which doesn't affect me at all. I hate the hi-lighted hair, iPod carrying dork pilots as much as anyone on this board. Those, along with you, are the real tools out there. I could give a crap less if I'm flying at 410 or back at 15,000 on the Dash 8's, doesn't matter to me. If I could find a job flying twin cessnas that paid what I make right now, i'd do it. So, you see, the screenname that we pick out for ourselves doesn't always mean what you may think it does. So, get off your high-horse, quit jerking off all day and actually think off something productive to say, instead of trying to smear people on here.

Well, that's true but it's also true that every one of those "jobs" and the approximately 9,000 hrs/mo block time that your deal with DAL will generate, come at the expense of a 9.000 hr reduction at another ALPA carrier that you undercut.

I have nothing against any of you personally but sticking your head in the sand doesn't help matters any. The fact is that ALPA's actions caused the slide that your groups reaction began.

Yup, very well said. I remember last year when they announced that Mesa would be flying all these RJs for DCI. Just weeks or so prior to the announcement, we (ASA) had been praised of what a great job we were all doing, thanks for the increase in performance numbers, etc etc etc blah blah blah. So, we were all hopeful that maybe, just maybe, we'd get a shot at all these RJs floating around that were up for grabs. Then, out of no where, we get kicked in the teeth again. And by again, I mean that the last time were told what great job we were doing they shut us of of DFW, told us we had 4 months to pick up our lives and move else where, no commuter clause, etc etc etc. So, after the prasies we received last year, then in comes Mesa with their rock bottom costs and what do we get??? You got it, another kick in the teeth.

I'll agree with you to an extent on that, but you're just as wrapped up in at as anyone else is. So, go enjoy your other forums.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

God, that sums up flightinfo.com and all the babies crying about Mesa-this Mesa-that in a nutshell.

1. NEVER!!

2. Flightinfo.com = 99% mesa-bashing + 1% non-Mesa bashing. This whole site is a smear job.

Real forum sites:

Airliners.net? You've gotta be kidding!!! That's the biggest collection of half-wits I've ever witnessed in my life.

Hate to bag on another MAG guy but ya. Airliners.net womps hard

Let's end this with something we can all agree on.

Besides the pictures of individual aircraft search that site sucks!

"Wow, look how the flaps are down. This means that the pilot thinks the airplane is heavy"

"The first officer in this airplane is reading a checklist"

"I can tell that this is a difficult approach, thus, the pilot has his map out."

Real airliners.net quotes
