I was surfing around and found this info on Nasa's J. Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.

http://icebox-esn.grc.nasa.gov

or just yahoo search Nasa Glenn Research Center. Go to the Icing Branch. Under click "Education and Training" at the left click "computer based" and scroll to the bottom. The 3 sections shown below download fast and take less than 15 to go thru.

• Section 1: Cues for Detecting Ice
• Section 2: Identifying Ice Type and Severity
• Section 3: Assessing the Severity of Ice

Sections 2 and 3 have good examples of rime/clear and mixed stuff. Turn your computer vol. up

Hope this helps someone.
