Just curious Bobby, how did you get your type?
I bought it from Mike Pappas in 1990. I did not get my type with any specific Citation job in mind. I thought it might enhance my overall chances by (1) showing that I was trainable and (2) showing that I could be typed. I also heard that Eagle was using a Citation sim for its sim rides. The last time I was in a Citation was on my checkride.

The type might have helped me get some senior instructing jobs, but I doubt that it impressed the regionals. And it helped me not one iota when I took my sim ride at my Eagle interview.
