Have any of you received the free FAA runway safety cd-rom? I was told by a CFI that the FAA has sent out this free CD-ROM to all CFI's, but I never got one. If any one know's the web address listed on the cover of the cd-rom could you please list it here so I can get a copy of the program. Thanks in advance.

Its actually is a DVD from the FAA. Cable was out, so I played it. Not bad, all things considered. The wife thought Patty Wagstaff could have dressed better.

Looked like they filmed it at SEA.

Thanks for the link... I went to the link and there is nothing there about how to get a copy of this DVD. Typical government mentality. Has anyone been able to get a copy of this DVD other than the FAA mailing it to you? Has anyone got a copy through a local FSDO? If you know how I can get a copy I'd appreciate the info. Thanks again.

Well, if I didn't throw mine away before it even made it in the house, you could have mine. I can't wait until the next one comes out.

OK... Surely there's a CFI out there in cyberland that can answer the question of how to get a copy of the Runway safety DVD if it has not been mailed to you. Appreciate any constructive responses. Thanks

I watched it last night and I thought it was put together well, considering how some of their videos are cheesy. If you're interested in finding a copy, I would guess you could try this website....

Thanks Haz Mat... but that link was already provided at the top of this thread and one would think it would be the place to go, but hey... it's the government and for some reason they mention absolutely nothing about the DVD on that site. Has anyone gone to their local FSDO to get a copy?

Go to (or call first) your FSDO, I know we have an entire box sitting next to the front door just for any one who wishes a copy.
