Is there such a thing as a cheap fractional?I see companies like blue star and sentient but there pretty much a glorified charter. And is choosing a company like sentient cheaper then chartering?I know it probably depends on the company. Also is there any other companies besides the big 4?Thanks

What's cheap?

Avantair, maybe? They're another fractional, which specializes in Piaggio Avantis. 1/16 share (50 hours) in a Piaggio Avanti for 390K, with a 7k/month management fee and no hourly rates listed on their website. Assuming 77% resale, and 7% remarketing, that'd be 2123/hour, but YMMV.

Some other people have discussed Fractionair, but apparently they're not very solid, based on what others have said here.

do not rule out Alpha Flying Inc. (AFI) they operate the PC12 great airplane.:)
Operating costs are low and performance isn't that bad for the type aircraft.
