I am interviewing with a well established large company (fortune 300) for a first officer position. They have set starting pay which is a little more then 91 nbaa standards. However, it is still less then I am making at my present job as a part 135 captain. Is this negotiable or does one take what they offer as the future pay will far exceed what I am making now? This is my first experience with a "real job" and don't want to blow it.

You get what you negotitate.

I have seen entry level jobs vary by as much as 20K for the same position.

They will let you know if it is NOT negotiable, now thats when it gets tough....

until then go high!
