Don't know what you consider expensive, but rates will be dropping considerably in Ft Myers as the tourist season ends. The FBO at FMY (Page Field) gets good rates at several local hotels. The Hilton Garden and Marriott Courtyard are both pretty nice. Should run @ 130 bucks for either during high season, and @ 100 at other times. Call the Aviation Center there, and ask for Barb, Deb, or Blanca. They won't steer you wrong.

Bell Tower Holiday Inn...huge mall across the street, right next to a movie theater and has a sports bar/grill...and a good pool. 5 minutes from Page. What more do ya need!

I second the Holiday Bell Tower. I belive the rate you get from Avitat at Page is around $82.

Yup Bell Tower is good and fairly priced. Plenty of places to eat and entertain yourself.
