Im a Navy P-3 guy looking at accepting orders to Vance AFB to fly T-1s but Ive got no info to go on. Im looking for any info on the daily lifestyle of flying the T-1 from anyone who did advanced training or anyone who was or is an instructor in T-1s. There arent too many Navy guys that go through there to pass the word around, so if anyone's got anything Id love to hear it.

It was a fun three years. You are home almost every night, although sometimes late, and most weekends. During the early phase of training the shows can be pretty early, stepping to fly prior to sunrise. The jet is fun to fly and still "new." The new paint is kind of goofy, let's put gloss over AMC grey.
