In some companies something about non-compete / trade secrets might apply--not to mention the lobbying (not to mention FAA!) contacts & connections meant for the benefit of Airline Pilots, not to potentially be used against them.

Guess flying the line wasn't a choice after living large thanks to the pilot group.

What was he supposed to do, in your opinion?

Many guys at AK moved up a number when he left.
 
This ENTIRE FORUM (NOT just this thread) is dead these days. Guess not many still here outside of union or airline management shills paid to troll the boards for outlanders.

Compare this to sev years ago prior to the ownership change. How is the pay to post thing working out?

That's okay people will just move on to new venues where you can't control the conversation. Great tactic
