Precisely.

The jury is still out on this aircraft and type. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next 5 years.

Even the Bombardier Challenger 604 aircraft has less than 500fpm climb rate in the upper 30’s, lower 40’s.

Yeah, with enough fuel to go 3500 miles at .80.... The Eclipse can do that, right?

Level flight at FL410, at Max Continuous Thrust (MCT) will yield 360kts.

This is why we put in disposable engines...

I think that the Eclipse will be moderately successful in the long run, but in the short run, Cessna will eat their lunch when real customers begin having real problems with their airplanes.

Uh, I know of a certain turbo-prop that can do 400kts at 410.

I dont think these VLJ's are gonna be anything spectacular...

Pardon my ignorance, but what turboprop can do that?

the avanti is $5 mil.

Also, the Avanti II only does 398Kts at FL290. At 410 it might make 370KTAS according to the sales rep I spoke to a few weeks ago.

Can anyone flying at Avantair fill us in on their current rides? Sure would appreciate the info.
