AirTran Airways is currently accepting resumes and conducting interviews for First Officer Positions.



Minimum Qualifications:
  • Fixed wing flight time - 2500 hours
  • Multi-engine, fixed wing flight time - 1000 hours
  • 121 PIC or military equivalent - 500 hours
  • An ATP certificate, or successful completion of the ATP written exam
  • Current First Class Medical certificate
  • Valid passport
  • Legally eligible for employment in the United States
  • Free of felony convictions within the most recent 10 years

Wasn't intended to be breaking news, Skippy... Just have flow with a lot of guys with that time and they said that the only reason they didn't apply there is because of having to be in ATL.

Sounds like a good reason to me. Hiring or not, ATL is still miserable.

Your kidding right? Memphis is soooo much better. If anyone had the opportunity to improve their situation and career but don't because of the fact Atlanta is where AirTran's hub is located really deserve to spend their career at a third rate regional airline.
