check out this freakish little thing. almost like a generic car company.

Straight from Brazill now in over 70 dealerships in the USA. the Crosslander 4x4.
-2.8 turbodiesel (intercooled) from INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER
-tranny and drivetrain from EATON
-only has 135 hp but 350+ #'s torque!!!
sounds bulletproof....but at $16,800 ? i dunno. i wonder bout the warranty...look for yourself i guess...

Dunno Rob....I think its pretty cool, actually, like a Land Rover Defender 90. I'd buy one, and if I get my TA, I'll buy it and new shotgun too! Wait a minute, I'll still be a regional airline pilot.

Maybe they'll send me a hat.

theres a dealership in indy, and i bet a gun store too when youre there...

aparently this company is an ARO brand, romanian, and has been making 4x4's for 50 years....jsut not here. can tow 5000 pounds!

that a whole lot of ammo for your shotgun....i'd like to scare up a 10 gauge. is there still shells for a 10 gauge?

so how much overtime did they ask you to work?

Just called three of the listed "dealers" from the website, here is what they had to say:

Dealer 1) "Yea, their people came in a year ago, we signed a contract with them and haven't seen them since."

Dealer 2) "Hello. You got the wrong number."

Dealer 3) "We were supposed to get the first models last April, but they told us they were being delayed indefinitely."

wow, wonder why...

Robbo...I imagine it was just transition stuff on the OT

Yeah, you can get 10 gauge...I think they use it for geese and ducks still in Canada...planning on needing it if you go to LGA? Its a tough neighborhood...and a shotgun says "I'm a good neighbor!"

oh yeah...10 ga slugs, brass shells. i remember a nice SPAS 10 was out there....semi-auto...mmm tasty

When I first started flying the RJ a senior captain, with as much distain for the a/c as myself, said this...."would you buy a car made in Brasil?"
