A few years back there was a website called "Will Dispatch For Food", and on this site there was some information about working conditions around the 121 dispatch industry, pay, contacts, dispatcher jumpseating, etc.,

I am considering reopening the website. I have a server here at home, with a wireless net connection, so, with the exception of the domain name, I have all I need.

If you are a current 121 dispatcher (or recently former), and would like to contribute to the cause, PM me the following:

Chief of Dispatch or Hiring Manager
Union Representation
Route Structure and Type of Operations Flown, and Aircraft fleet
Flight Planning System, and other technology you have at your disposal
Length of Training
DX Jumpseating, for online and offliners
Benefits
Interview Gouge
Starting Pay, and full pay scale
Location
Short-term hiring outlook

I also was given, by an now-ex Mesa dispatcher, a spreadsheet of regional airline pay scales, per year. I would like to update that (its from early 2001), so please provide a full pay scale.

If you would like to see a sample page, the Internet wayback Machine has them all - one is

Send a PM, and I never divulge the source

Fly safe, and lets hope 2005 is better than 2004!
