I am trying to non rev/ or jumpseat to Sitka mid month in AUG. How impossible is this during the fishing season up there? Thanks.

along with alask empire also visits sitka. they have one jumpseat and it is never full. they fly atrs. the crew is top notch and enjoys someone to break up the flight. call dispatch at 866-844-7247 just need to be in cass.

cargo 1 - fedex at the transiplex - very north end of cargo road at seatac - where the caravans park at the north end of the field. hope this helps. empire is probably the best way for one person to get to sitka in the summer since the alaska flights do get pretty full that time of year - however it is not impossible. Alaska has many flights going that way.

If you're CASS approved, not a big deal. If you need a seat in the back, could be in for a rough trip.
