question about making contacts and getting foot in the door?
currently flying a 4-9pm schedule in CVG and am wondering in the off time throwing boxes at FDX or throwing bags at comair would increase chances of getting hired when things open up? no heavy jet and very little turboprop exp, but I'll have my ATP in Jan.

Yes. I personally know of people with low time, under the normal hiring mins who worked at Comair and are now pilots with us. Some come out of dispatch, some from the ramp, and even some flight attendants. I'm sure they hire part time people, if that's what you want, or full time too. One thing, hopefully you have a way to build time while you are working here, as that is important too. Good luck to you.
