Hi there. I was just informed that I am going to be rejoining the ranks of the flying!!! Just got a job flying a Fokker-100 and was hoping that some of you Fokker guys could give me some tips on flying it. While I've got a fair bit of time, 7200hrs and lots of turbine, it is my first jet. As far as I know, all the ones we have purchased have the -650 engines on them.
Any little tricks on power settings for approach, tricks for engine failures etc. would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

P.S. All of the planes are EX AA so some of you out there may have actually flown them!!

F-100

I flew the F-100 for a few hundred hour at US Airways before I was furloughed. It's a very easy airplane to fly with relativly simple systems.

It has a glass cockpit and dual FMS's.

I'm not sure about the AA planes, but the F-100 is notorious for bad air conditioning in the summer, hence the nickname "Dutch Oven"

Good luck with the new job!
