I am going to be in ST Louis, MO for the summer and I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the FBOs up there. More specifically which ones to stay away from and which ones are cool to fly with. Also if anyone wants to build some time I am definitely willing just pm me and let me know.

Signature Flight Support at KSTL (old Midcoast) was always nice to go into although probably not going to be much help to you since I do not believe they have a flight school there. I am the wrong person to ask though since I was always biased and made sure I would always choose a Signature Flight Support whenever I had that option available to me due to the high level of customer service they always provided and their facilities.

You may want to look at Downtown, I am pretty sure they have two flight schools on the field.

good luck

Skyline at KSUS

Skyline Aviation over at Spirit of St. Louis KSUS has been a nice place to fly for me and my dad. The chief CFI, Kevin Farrell is a fine fellow. PM me if you need more info!

We use Air BP. Where Transtate does their maintance (I think) Not sure what their fuel prices are. However, they have always been nice to use and letting us use the crew car. They have a computer for internet too.

If you need a hotel there is a La Quinta that has a $35 crew rate up the road that has a shuttle or the fbo can run you up there.
