Does anyone out the know how to find out about jobs with the DNR or Forestry Service flying the water bombers, troop carriers, etc.?

Thanx for any and all info.

AIR TANKERS

NFFT, I flew Air Attack and Recon as a contract pilot for the US Forest Service. I hung out with alot of the pilots from various companys (Aero Union, Neptune and Hawkins and Powers) for over three years. Great bunch of guys, but even with the experience and exposure to the industry, I was unable to get a job. I think If you really want to fly Air Tankers I would try to find a charter company that has contracts with the USFS. Maybe you will have better luck than me.

Thank you bothe for the replies. They are very much appreciated.:)

Try getting an email or a P.M. to a guy called "Avbug." He's been bombing fires for years...very knowledgeble. Knowledgeable...did I spell that right?

If you would like any information feel free to send me a message and I will answer any questions you have. or I will run down any answers for you I do not know. I fly for one of the large airtanker companies on a P2 and have some friends that do fly for other companies and other equipment.
