I had the same problem about 4 times over the last 10 years and it's no fun. I did lots of research and found different things trigger it for different people. Things like red wine, milk & dairy products, onions are just a few. Each time I would keep track of what I had consumed the day before. It was onions (raw) for me. I stopped raw onions and the problem went away. Four years later I put them back into my diet and the problem returned so now I know.
