It truly does make a difference and you only have to look at the once-apathetic now strongly unified NJA pilots to see just how much. BTW, that unity doesn't begin and end with their own pilot group. It extends to working as a partner with NJA and sharing advice and encouragement to other pilot groups in the industry. I have no doubt that given the right atmosphere the Options pilots would partner with their managers, as well. The FLOPS are making a big mistake by not harnessing the good will and talent of their pilots. It's time for them to bring respect and professional wages to the bargaining table. It may be common practice to try to buy frac pilots off cheap... but that doesn't make it right! Smart management teams pay the going rate and motivate their work force.
