I thought it was in the stairwell in ATL when they de-planed an ASA flight
Correct.

Did some research one bored afternoon a few weeks ago. Charges WERE dropped, but not because it was a scam, but because she LIED several times, including making statements that it was forced with absolutely ZERO evidence to prove such (and a lot of video evidence to the contrary).

You can't put someone like that on the stand, his attorney would have torn so many holes in her and the evidence that the case would have crumbled. So the D.A. in Atlanta dropped it.

Don't know if there's any civil action pending or not.

Unfortunately, that doesn't change the fact that he made a HUGE error in judgment that will probably haunt him and his career for YEARS.

eMail to the Atlanta Journal Constitution (or whatever the heck it's called). When I couldn't find anything doing a search I sent a letter to the editor through the link on their website and they sent me a brief email back saying the D.A. had dropped it for "conflicting accounts by the alleged victim".

I sent a reply email back asking them why they didn't run that story to help "clear" the pilot to a certain extent, they never responded again.
