Trying to get over to the west coast from South Fl (FLL or PBI or MIA would be good) with my wife for a few days using Delta benefits.
The plan is to get over to a city on the south or north tip, rent a car and drive to the other end along the shore while checking out places, then fly back. We would like to see Cal before my benefits are gone.
Problem is that I was checking out some DAL flights and they all seem to be full. Getting to ATL is not a problem but from there it seems very crowded. I was wondering about ID90 on other carriers but I have no clue where to start.
Also, which car rental company and hotel chain is the best for Delta employee benefits? I was mostly on expedia and have checked some rental prices but I don't know the corporate codes. Not even sure if I can use them.
