I've been messing around with MSFS 2004 for a while now. As I understand it, it is possible to "add on" different aircraft. I would like to know how I could go about obtaining a PA28, if available. Is there a website that you can download from or something?

Thanks alot.

Oh man, there are a ton of sites which you can download free fs9 add ons. I dont think I'll list them all here but I would suggest that you first give www.avsim.com a shot. This is a great place to start looking if youre interested in a PA28.

Hope that helped!

I agree - flightsim.com has a huge database. Check out their most popular files section - some pretty awesome stuff there. You have to register, and sometimes it's hard to get on, but it's worth it.

Anyone seen the screenshots for the new FS X that's due to come out around the holidays? http://www.fsplanet.com/fsplanet_com_fsx.htm Amazing detail.

Surclaro.com is another. There are two add on's that add tremendously to your FS2004. One is Ultimate Traffic which puts the US traffic system on your computer and the other is Active sky which is weather much better than the real Jepp weather that comes with it.

Holy cow! Ya' think it'll run on my 5 year old computer with 128 ram?

If it's anything like '04 ran on my laptop, it'll run, just don't try to fly into any type of weather or with any traffic cause it'll freeze up on ya. I just bought a new system from Dell that my kid brother tells me is suppose to be awesome for gaming. We'll see I guess.

I consult for Flight1 so check out there stuff. There was an archer released a few years ago, don't quite recall who made it, I think it wasa a CARENADO addon, but check out www.flight1.com they have a ton of addons all professionally done and about as realistic as you can create with FS.

avsim.com is run by communists, try flightsim.com

I ALWAYS get a kick out of comments by Metro but he's wrong this time. AVSIM.com is the place to go for free downloads. FlightSim.com has all the same stuff but you need to jump through hoops to get one. I have NEVER been turned down for a download at AVSIM, I rarely "get through" for downloads at FlightSim: "We are Sorry: All Nodes are currently busy at this time. Would you like to sign up for "First Class" menbership?. " Your call is important to us, Please stay on the line.

PS: What's wrong with communists?? Sweathog
