Im looking for a good school, non 141 that has a complex aircraft and a twin. Also they have to except the Key Bank loan or has other loan lenders. Im looking to move down there and get started flying again but not sure where theres a good flight school that has decent rates.

I know about Pro Aircraft at Hicks so if anyone recommends them thats for the help but im aware.

Why a non-141 school. Usually it is much easier to get banks to give you a loan for 141 flight schools.

True. Its just personal prefrence i guess. There are still a lot of 61 schools that have some sort of loan program. I think ATP and American Flyers are the only ones in that area that are 141 and AF doesnt have a twin. ATP doesnt have any singles that i know of but its not that big of a deal. I might end up doing ATP from ME, CFI, CFII.

I just looked up the usflightacademy.com. I called and talked with someone and that seems like a great deal for the position im in and what i want out of a school. Im about to do a search but does anyone have any fresh good/bad info on them? Thanks

actually, all atp's does have a single. it's been some time since i was down there, but i seem to remember two 172's. ofcourse, the majority of the training will be in the seminole.

ATP (when they were at GKY) did have a 172 for the SE ratings. Don't know what changes they've made now that they're at ADS.

I have had no problems with Usflightacademy. Good airplanes, Good maintence and good instructors. Plus takeoff and you are almost already in the practice area so you dont spend time getting there.
