You HAVE to have any of these renewal courses done by the time your CFI expires. You can start the course up to 90 days before your set to expire, unless something has changed. so, if you start early (90 days ahead), you could do a little here and there until its done. The AF course requires you to put in 16 hours, you can fudge the thing a little.

But, if your like me and just about every other male instructor, you'll wait until the last minute and then cram the sucker into the VERY LAST WEEKEND!!!
