There is a job posted on 01/05 for entry level line pilots in AK. Does anybody have info on this job that they are willing to share?

Thanks in advance,

from what Ican find the job is at Island Air Service, they want a current, working CFII with a multi rating to start in SE then move to ME. They also want a 4 yr degree and 700tt. Fax a resume to 907 486-5529 to the Chief Pilot (no name given)

I hope this helps,

Good Luck!

info

Island Air Service
2295 Mill bay Road • Kodiak, AK 99615 • tel: (907) 486-6196 or 1-800-478-6196 (Alaska only) • fax: (907) 486-5529 • e-mail: [email protected]

I spoke with Mike Gerber (Chief Pilot) today and he was a very pleasant guy. Ideally they are looking for someone with 600-700 TT and a willingness to sign a year 1 1/2 contract. Is sounds like a great place to build time and have an adventure at the same time. It's definitly not your typical time builiding job. Give Mike a call at the posted number and I'm sure he'd be happy to speak with you if you are seriously considering the position...

Is this the position on Climbto350.com for entry level 182 pilots? I am not a member so I can't see it for another couple of days.

All I know is that this job is listed on Climb350 but I am not a member either and have only heard through friends that this job was posted there. As I said, you start off in a cherokee or saratoga and then upgrade to some UK multi (Highlander??) down the road.

This job is great for those outdoors, adventure seeking type folks.
