Anyone every do a flight from NJ to the KTLH area? Any recomendations on a route and places to avoid? I will be flying a Cherokee pa28-150. Any useful info would be a great help. Thanks in advance.
I've done it in a Cub a few times, the shoreline route at 50' the whole way to Florida is fun. A stop at Kittyhawk is interesting. Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach make good overnights.
Not sure about up north, but if you come close to Atlanta, you have to stop at LZU for some dinner at the restraunt on the field. Show up in the evening and some half dressed barbie may be doing some singing.
